A cozy stay in a unique geodesic dome built on the top of the mountain. It offers some of the most magical views of the valley. Apart from it, this space has everything you would want for a vacation home. Enjoy the views of the snow-covered peaks and pine trees right from your bed. Soak in the sun all day in the apple orchard surrounding the dome. Make yourself a delicious meal in our little kitchen or try something special from our menu. If you are looking for a place away from the usual hustle and bustle of the Kasol town, you have picked the right one. Because it's a pretty remote location, there is a lot of information that we like to share with our clients. Our little Cabin is located at a distance of 3 kilometers from the Jari Bus Stop. Jari Bus stop is 7 km before Kasol. We also arrange to pick up and drop guests on prior notice. Although driving till Village Tatardi is also a great option for guests coming in their own vehicles. Our dome is located just 5 min away from the village road. It is important to note that our place has no road accessibility and is connected by village path only. Itsy Bitsy Cabin is a unique place that offers a small kitchen, attached washroom, a beautiful attic with a bed, and a living area with a bed facing the mountains. Surrounded by Deodar trees and located at the top of the hill you will find yourself in the valley of Gods here. Nature and Peace are two things that define our place! And if you have a love for trekking and hiking then you are at the right place to start exploring the valley. Many beautiful treks start from our place. Looking to know more about the village lifestyle? You can get to know it just 10 minutes from Hermit's camp at village Mateura. The people here will welcome you with open arms. And yes no camping is complete without a night filled with music and bonfire. In the evening we arrange a bonfire for you so that you can enjoy and have fun and get a camping experience like no other. We also arrange activities like cooking classes by local women on request for those who want to get a closer look at local culture and local delicacies. We want our guests to have and enjoy an experience like no other. The dome is surrounded by a beautiful orchard. You have the complete space to yourself during your visit. If you want to want to lie down under the trees and read your favorite book you can do that or relax all day in the comfortable swings. It's up to you. If you are looking to spend the day in our common space then you can have some fun with the indoor games or play guitar if you like! We also have a campsite at a distance. There is absolutely no restriction in using any space here. We welcome artists with an open heart for sharing their art with us and giving us new ideas to improve. Ajay and Promilla are always there to help the guests. Ajay manages the property and his wife Promilla manages the Kitchen. Our guests love the meals she prepares with love. Mostly I'm around and love to socialize with our guests. But I am a traveler as well so at times when I'm not at the place I'm traveling to explore more. We have two routes/roads that connect to our property. The first one is "Village Mateura" which is within a walking distance of 15-20 min from our place. It is near to the main road (jari Bus Stop) which is 1.5 km in distance. The two drawbacks of this route are that you have to hike uphill from this village to reach our place. The Village road is a little narrow and the village doesn't have a dedicated parking spot. The second one is "Village Tatardi" which is within a walking distance of 5-10 min from our place. It is roughly 3-4 Km from the main road (Jari Bus Stop). We have our private parking in this village. And the path from the village till our place is a downhill walk which is more comfortable for travelers. The only drawback with this route is that during rains or snowfall this road becomes very muddy as it is not yet mettled. This is only for high ground clearance vehicles. So our place is located between two beautiful villages. Both of the villages have many old temples and very old architecture that many travelers enjoy capturing. If you are looking to visit Kasol you can hire a cab or use local transport from the main road. Kasol is only 8 Km from Jari Bus Stop. You can also hire a cab directly to visit Malana Village from our place. It will take you roughly half an hour to reach it. Other than that Manikaran can also be visited by hiring a cab or using local transport which is at a distance of 11 Km from the main road. On the way, you can visit kasol as well. Apart from the known tourist places, there are a few beautiful hikes and treks that start from our place as well. "Dargan Temple" trek is one of them. It is a 3 hours trek roughy between dense forest which leads to a very old temple and religious site for the locals. How to reach "Itsy Bitsy Cabin"? If you are coming by Bus/Volvo from Delhi:- Get down at Jari Bus Stop which is 8 Km before Kasol. Our staff will contact you a day in advance before your arrival. Let them know your mode of transportation. From Jari Bus Stop our place is at a distance of 2 Km. You can hire a cab from Jari Taxi Stand to the "Village Mateura". Our staff will receive you at the village. From the village, our cabin is within a walking distance of 15-20 min. It is a moderate uphill hike through the village path. If you have any knee problems and are not comfortable with hiking, then we won't suggest our stay. Please try to carry backpacks as trolly bags are not recommended for hiking. We don't have road connectivity till our place. If you are coming by your own vehicle with high ground clearance:- For vehicles having high ground clearance, park your vehicle at "Village Tatardi". It is 4 Km from the main road (Jari Bus Stop). We have our private parking for guests in the village. Follow the online map's location we share with you before your arrival. Our staff will receive you at the village. From the village, our cabin is within a walking distance of 10-15 min. It is a downhill hike through the village path. We don't have road connectivity till our place. Your luggage will be taken care of by the staff. The village road connecting the main road is not mettled. Therefore during rains and heavy snowfall, the roads become muddy. Please check with our staff beforehand and only then bring your vehicle to the village. Or else park your vehicle at paid parking at "Jari market". You can hire a cab from Jari Taxi Stand to the "Village Mateura". Our staff will receive you at the village. From the village, our cabin is within a walking distance of 15-20 min. It is a moderate uphill hike through the village path. If you have any knee problems and are not comfortable with hiking, then we won't suggest our stay. Please try to carry backpacks as trolly bags are not recommended for hiking. If you are coming by your own vehicle with low ground clearance:- For vehicles having low ground clearance, after reaching Jari Bus Stop, park your vehicles in the paid parking at Jari. The paid parking charges are to be taken care of by the guests themselves. We don't recommend guests with low ground clearance vehicles to bring their vehicles to the village as the link road till the village is not mettled and during rains it gets muddy. So to avoid any inconvenience to the guests and damage to the vehicle, please park your vehicle at the paid parking. Our staff will contact you a day in advance before your arrival.
