'Maison Beaux Souvenirs' : a breathtaking view

A million dollar view in this beautiful house high in the mountains (1000m). Our strawbale house is a self-build of 130m2, and the house is still under construction. The house is quite habitable but full of things to finish. One stove is enough because the house is super well insolated by the strawbales. Our house is located at the edge of the picturesque village of Nozières at 1000m altitude and close to Lamastre and the river "le Doux". In Nozières there is a grocery + post office and a restaurant / bar tobacco. In Lamastre, you will find shops, markets, tourism office, restaurants ... The area is perfect for nature activities. You will appreciate the accommodation for its clear view on the Ardèche mountains. It is perfect for couples or families with children a little bigger because there is no balustrade for the stairs. Beautiful in every season also under the snow, on the other hand, snow tires are really essential. The house is build on the 'ecolotissment Les Rabarines' at the edge of the village. You can access the house by car through a dirt road. There is also parking just down, into the village. We remain available to inform you or advise you during your stay by phone or email. In the village there are several people who take care of our house and are available on site. It's also time to get to know the friendly people of Nozières. Many of them speak English. The area, is very calm and relaxing, and offers many nature activities such as hiking, mountain biking, there is the gorgeous bike road 'Dolce Via', swimming in the river 'le Doux' ... etc. For the gourmands: the area is full of little French bistros. Daily markets with local products. During summertime each thursday you can visit the local farms. At Saint Bonnet le Froid Regis there is the famous restaurant from Jacques Marcon (3 Michelin stars) and their luxury spa (30km). You need a car. Trainstation TGV: Valence (1h). Airport: Lyon (2h).
