Ideally situated on the banks of the River Eden in Appleby opposite the cricket pitch and church. Once a corset factory, our home is steeped in history parts dating back to the 1600’s. Beamed ceilings, stone floors and freshly painted light grey walls blend well with the traditional architechture. We are ideally situated within walking distance of numerous shops, pubs and restaurants as well as the local Castle. Fishing Permits available with 24 hours notice. . Nearby lakes, such as Ullswater, and many walks can be explored locally, or by car from Appleby. The rooms range from a four poster double, another double bedroom or a twin bedded room. Please note that the house is better suited for able adults. We cater for parties of 1 or 2 couples or family of four as the bathroom is sharedTea & Coffee making facilities in double rooms. Breakfast is optional (at extra charge) in the Snug, ranging from Smoothies, Bircher Porridge, to fully cooked breakfast using locally sourced ingredients. You are free to use the garden/patio for your afternoon tea/drinks. Well behaved dog owners are welcome. Massage/ Aromatherapy/ Reiki Treatments are available on site.
