A private en suite room in a Cornish cottage with contemporary interiors, enjoying beautiful views to St Just Creek and sea views across Carrick Roads to Mylor. A five minute drive takes you to St Mawes with its picturesque waterfront, beach, passenger ferries to Falmouth, hotels, galleries and shops. The King Harry Ferry is only a ten minute drive and gives easy access to Truro, Falmouth and the Lizard Peninsula. Carne and Pendower are safe sandy beaches within easy reach. The Little House is the perfect place to relax with breathtaking views of the water and fields beyond. The bedroom and bathroom are private and there are sliding doors from the bedroom onto a balcony. On fine summer evenings you can borrow blankets, sit on the balcony and watch the sun go down. Alternatively you have a cosy little snug to yourselves with sofa and TV where you can relax in the evening with a glass of wine. You also have use of an adjoining private WC and shower room. Help yourself to the kettle to make hot drinks in the kitchen and store your picnic food in the fridge. You are welcome to eat breakfast at my dining table and enjoy the wonderful view of the estuary and fields beyond. Help yourselves to a delicious breakfast of ground coffee and tea, bread, cereal, fruit and yoghurt. Guests have their own private bedroom with ensuite bathroom. There are sliding doors from the bedroom on to a balcony with panoramic views. The bathroom has a WC and free standing bath with a hand held shower fitting. Downstairs there is a private snug with TV and adjoining WC and shower room. The dining table is available for breakfast time only. St Just in Roseland has a very ancient church nestled in trees on the creek surrounded by sub tropical gardens. It's a place of peace and tranquility and a wonderful antidote to busy lives. The beautiful coastal walk to St Mawes takes about an hour at a good pace. It can be muddy after heavy rain but well worth it! The nearest shops, pubs and restaurants are located in St Mawes, only a five minute drive from the house. From St Mawes you can take the passenger ferry to Falmouth or across to Place House where you can enjoy a magnificent walk around St Anthony's Head. Pay and display parking is available in St Mawes in the main village car park and on the quay. Taxis are available from St Mawes but need to be booked well in advance. Buses run every two hours from St Mawes to Truro, stopping via St Just in Roseland and Portscatho. (Website hidden by Airbnb) The St Mawes foot Ferry runs daily to Falmouth. The Place Ferry runs seasonally from April 1st - October 27th between St Mawes and St Anthony's Head. The King Harry car Ferry runs daily every 20 minutes - check website for timetables and prices. (Website hidden by Airbnb) The cottage is on split levels and the bedroom is on the first floor. The bedroom is compact but more than makes up with the beautiful views. The cottage has it's own parking directly outside the house which is small but will fit most cars. The cottage is located on the A3078 -the main road to St Mawes. It can be quite busy sometimes so care needs to be taken when arriving at and leaving the house.
