Lovely private rooms and bath in Glenside
Our 3 bedroom home is located in Glenside, a northern suburb of Philadelphia. Our neighborhood is quiet, very friendly and walkable to downtown Glenside and Keswick Village. We are about 5 min. from the train station which will take you straight into Center City. Westminster Seminary is a walkable mile away, and Arcadia University is about a 5 min. drive down Hwy 73. Historic Chestnut Hill is about 15 min. away, offering many amenities. Our upstairs guest space is easily accessible as you walk in the front door. Up the stairs to the right is a large bedroom with a queen bed and an available pack n play for a baby. There is soft seating and a desk in the room as well. The hallway bathroom has a regular tub/shower. There is a smaller bedroom on the left that has a double bed, available if guests should need more space for other adults or children in their party. We consider this an overflow room. We also have a child's size floor mattress if needed. We provide a breakfast of baked goods, fruit, granola, muffins or bagels, coffee, tea, juice, and eggs if desired, served as a help yourself buffet in the dining area and kitchen. Relax on the back yard patio or front porch swing. We are happy to help you settle in and give you information about the area. We have lived in Glenside 3 years, but have spent many years in PA. Our bed and bath are downstairs, so you will have complete privacy in the upstairs guest space. Very friendly, safe, walkable neighborhood The SEPTA train station to other suburbs and center city Philadelphia is 5 min. from our house. We are also close to a PA turnpike exit (off 309N). We do have a dog in our home, but she cannot go upstairs to the guest spaces (she is 14). She is a border collie-lab mix. She normally is kept in our basement area.
