A short 20 minute drive to iconic Michelton Winery, Nagambie township, Historic Towns to explore, fabulous food expericences, Farmers Markets, country walking or bike riding trails, relaxing drives an hour to the Historic township of Echuca on the Murray take a ride on Paddle Steamer join in the fun of the many Music Festivals or dine at the highly acclaimed Junction Restaurant/Cafe. Beautiful inland lakes with an abundance of bird and wildlife. Plenty of beautiful scenic gentle or more challenging walks around the Murchison township, stop at the local bakery or Wagners cafe, enjoy the quaint shops with the local artists have their work on display, the rail trail walk or ride will take you through to the neighbouring historic town of Rushworth if your looking for a days activity. Ride the bike trail to Shepparton taking you along the river or Mountain bike ride on the banks of the Goulburn and surrounding bush in Murchison, Nagambie lakes, fishing, flower farm, bushwalking, Rutherglen, Heathcote and Avenel winery districts. Go further afield and head up to the majestic Murray River for the day. Benalla and its thriving art community are a leisurely drive away. Drivers are available to hire.
