Furnished bell tent on the River Ayr Way in Sorn

Midst the meadow lies 'buttercup belle' enjoy the sounds of nature and delight in its riches. This hidden gem is on the route of the River Ayr Way walk and is on the edge of the village of Sorn with its riverside cafe and pub the Sorn Inn featured in the michelin guide. The scenery around us is stunning and you can enjoy walking, wild swimming, forest-bathing cycling and foraging or just relaxing. We keep a few ducks and chickens so can supply fresh eggs, flowers and herbs from our garden. There is a timber double bed with a luxury memory foam mattress. All bedding is provided and is cotton. Extra single camp beds x 2 or a double mattress can be provided so the tent can sleep a maximum of four. There is a low coffee table/bench with floor cushions for picnic style dining and a vintage pine washstand with bowl and jug. A very short stroll from the tent is the covered camping kitchen, composting toilet with basic but beautiful camping shower (runs on hot water from the kettle and uses a pump to disperse the water) The covered kitchen has a double electric hob, toaster and kettle and also crockery pans and utensils. There is a dining table and benches with parasol in the outside area next to the covered kitchen. You will have complete privacy during your stay but if you need us we are only 50m away in the farmhouse. Parking is available about 20m from the tent and we can provide you with a wheelbarrow to transport your luggage.
