Rome downtown in 30 min. driving from the cottage.Allthough the guesthouse in 1,5 km from the train St to Rome dowtown we suggest ro rent a car either in Rome airports or in Rome downtown where it's cheaper. If you are looking for some absolute relax, the lakes will be your best choice (Anguillara, Trevignano, Bracciano are marvellous towns located around the lake of Bracciano)!Our cottage can also be used as a basis to make a one-day trip to Florence or to Naples. You will take a nice break in the pool the next day! Our Mini Villa is very close to the 18 holes GOLF COURSE OF OLGIATA that is only 4 km far away.Our contry cottage with swimming pool in Rome joined (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) more than 6 years ago. Rome has apprx. 218. average sunshine days per year which is very good for light therapy in winter.We suggest to book in advance your visito to the Vatican Museums ,Sistine Chapel ,Palazzo Valentini ( Domus Romae) and Domus Aurea!!!!We strongly suggest a visit to Ostia Antica as well as Villa Adriana and Villa D'Este in (URL HIDDEN) visit the Colossem and the Vaitican Museums you can also park in the train station lot that is onlu 1,5 km faraway the cottage and take the train which leads to the metro. The price of the train ticket is 1,00 Euro only valdi for 75 minutes also for the metro!!! Dayly ticket costs only 4 euros.The Testa's cottage of Rome has air conditioned as well. TESTA'S COTTAGE OF ROME , built in 2003, is part of the Testa's family property. The cottage is located in a 11.000 sqm. property along with a larger guesthouse that the owners use as a second home. You will enjoy a PRIVATE swimming pool ( shared only with members of Testa's familiy ....sometimes) THE NEW TREE PLATFORM ( 5 METERS HEIGHT) WILL BE COMPLETED WITHIN FEBRUARY .Both the guesthouse and the cottage are used to host our family (the former) and our guests (the latter) and provide them with all the comfort they may require (there is a large patio in the guesthouse which the owners may want to use to provide guests with welcome drinks or cocktails upon arrival) also the property is a reference point for our guests as one of the family will always be around upon demand to provide instructions, help and supervision is so required ( we can also take our guests to Rome on a "fist-time" tour or propose the best itineraries and amenities, as well as work out sightseeing itineraries, (Colosseum ,Capitol Hill, Circo Massimo Palatinum, Aventino) recommend restaurants and routes on a daily basis.
