Fern Forest Tent

This is a large canvas tent, elevated four feet on a wooden platform. The property abuts the preserve forest under Mohonk Mountain, nestled against Coxing Kill Creek. This space offers near-complete privacy on the edge of the property, isolated from the bustle of farm life. Electricity is provided, but there is no Wi-Fi or running water. The tent is located on a short path behind fenced-in garden space, part of our organic CSA farm. The farm may be explored by guests with the exception of a few private areas. We provide a wash basin, pitcher, soap and spring water. Clean bedding and hand towels are included. I or my co-host will normally be available on property. Barring that, I will be available on my cell phone for any questions or emergencies. This is a rural neighborhood. The property is adjacent to the Mohonk Preserve & the trails are within walking distance to our land. Minnewaska State Park is 7 miles away. We are 8 miles from the college town of New Paltz and 3 miles to the village of High Falls. There are many restaurants, antique shops & other interesting shops in the area. Take a bus to New Paltz or Rosendale, then a taxi, approximately 12 minutes, to the property.
