Friendly Owl B&B - Pine Room

Our spacious Pine Room sleeps a converted king bed, alongside a daybed. The daybed can be arranged as a twin or king. The room has a private 2pc en suite bathroom with a bathtub/shower. Breakfast is currently served in your suite (a guests’ common area is in the near future). We also offer welcome refreshments, kettle & tea, toiletries, hairdryer, and a shared guest fridge. The guest rooms are on the ground floor and completely separate from our personal area. There is a guest entrance where the shared guest fridge is found, among books and games to borrow. Cold water is available in the fridge. There are no kitchen facilities. There are hammocks out back which are perfect on starry nights. You are welcome to browse the gardens. A fire pit and charcoal bbq are available out back, which is available upon request. We are fairly central on the Saugeen Peninsula, allowing easy short access to the beaches, the trails, Tobermory and the boat tours, Lion's Head and Wiarton, and farmers' markets. You will definitely need a vehicle to get around up here. If you need a drive to the Bruce Trail entrance for hiking, we may be available. We are right on the bend in the road, so it easy to pass us. Look out for the yellow owl under the mailbox. Under the Dark Skies Act we do not have lit signage. You will receive a key to your room. Please leave your outdoor shoes on the mats provided outside your room. All linens are provided (sheets, blankets, towels - no beach towels), hand soap, shampoo, body wash and hair dryer. There is a kettle in the room with a variety of tea. A luggage rack, hook racks, and a tall cabinet is provided for your belongings in each room. The rooms do not have a kitchen, and we do not keep a microwave in our home. A charcoal bbq and fire pit are available for your use out back.
