The Cottage at Miranda-peace & tranquillity abound

The Cottage at Miranda is a private cottage, on a 6 acre property, with beautiful country views. It has a creek running through It which is just a gentle stroll away. It’s a 5 minute drive to Waldara wedding venue & 20 minutes to Jenolan Caves and Mayfield Gardens. Check in is from 2pm and check out is (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) am. Linens & towels provided. It’s spacious! - Beautiful north facing sun room with views of the country side. Two rocking chairs. A large dining table which is perfect for enjoying meals with a view, or a lovely spot to read, write, paint. - 1 cosy queen bed with an electric blanket, fresh linens & plush pillows. - 1 spacious bathroom, extra large shower, towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. - Kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and a single stove top cooker. Suitable to heating up & cooking simple meals. A small bench top oven is now available for roasting veg etc. it is in the kitchen cupboard. Please note there is not a dishwasher. - Coffee and tea is provided. We have a Nespresso machine with compostable pods and also a French press with ground coffee. - Good sized living area with a reverse cycle air-conditioner for summer and winter. There is also a free standing heater as a booster if necessary. - Wi-fi is available. Vodaphone reception is poor in country areas. Telstra works best. Please note, phone reception can be patchy in this area. - Blue tooth speakers & board games provided and a Jigsaw puzzle. The outdoor areas- garden and paddock- are shared spaces with our property managers who live next door. But please feel free wander down & take a picnic to enjoy down by the creek! There is a FIRE PIT with kindling and wood provided, plus fire lighters and a lighter. Two knee rugs are also provided and two light and comfortable chairs! We hope you enjoy yourselves! You are welcome to wander round the property and cross the bridge to climb up to the top of the paddock. We are usually on the property somewhere, gardening, mowing etc! Our lovely property managers Lalage & Geoff live next door & are available to help you for any urgent needs. They may “meet and greet” but other than on request they will leave you to enjoy your stay. You are welcome to go and chat if they are outdoors! Waldara wedding venue, 5 minutes away by car Mayfield Gardens 20 minutes away by car Jenolan caves, 20 minutes away by car as is Mayfield Gardens. The 6 ft walking track starts at Jenolan. The area is known for fossicking and Trout fishing and mushroom foraging! Oberon 10 minutes by car Trout fishing at Lake Oberon. Bush walking Kanangra-Boyd National Park down to the waterfall and plateau walk. Evans Crown near Tarana is a beautiful walk and perfect for a pub lunch afterwards. IGA and Food World for general provisions in Oberon A car is a must when visiting Oberon. The town shops are a 10 min drive from our property.
