The Cottage + heated pool (shared)

Pool now closed until May 2022 A restored Normandy longere with loft conversion. Stone walls downstairs (pierre apparent) and oak beams and woodburning cheminee. Well equipped for 4/6 persons. Fully equipped kitchen. Outside personal Weber BBQ and dining space. 20 metres from the 10m x 5m pool, shared with 2nd gite. Pool fully equipped with sun loungers. Garden equipped with swing, wendy house, table tennis, basketball hoop, swingball, football goals. Play area shared by both gites. No shops in our small village of 160 people. We are 1.8km from both Laleu and Ste Scolasse, about 15 or 20 mins walk to either. Laleu has a Bar and Pizza restaurant. Ste Scolasse has Bakery, Bar, Grocery, Butcher/Charcuterie, Post Office and Hairdresser. Nearest town Le Mele s Sarthe 7 km, about 5 10 mins drive with supermarkets, shops, ATMs, pharmacy, bank, hotels bars and restaurants plus petrol station No public transport within 7km. Train to Paris (1hr 15mins) from L'Aigle about 25 mins away. Free parking at the station. Possible to do day trip to Paris on mid morning train arriving midday and returning on a 6 or 7pm train back Pool open early May - mid end September
