Sweet Country Home
We love our little house (4 bedrooms, front&back yards) and you will too! It's surrounded by nature (olive trees and vineyards) in a tiny, quiet and friendly farming community. Several beautiful beaches 25 minutes by car, Tel-Aviv 1 hour away. It's a cozy, homey (that's a word right?) place, with a beautiful master bedroom . There are also three other bedrooms perfect for kids and other guests; and a living room, kitchen and dining area, all in one central space, with a piano if you feel like playing... 3 Bathrooms & 2 showers, washing machine, plus front yard with plenty of shade from our olive and fruit trees, and endless parking space. The spacious back yard includes several shaded areas to hang out, a fire pit, a grilling station (both gas and charcoal grills), and for the kids - a safe and fun trampoline, a good-sized above-ground pool, and a beautiful rustic tree-house. Front yard features a shaded lawn, perfect for afternoon picnics, with a hammock; as well as a small basketball area. Our house is yours for the stay, including towels and bedding, AC units, WiFi, TV&Netflix... etc. We'll probably meet you upon arrival and departure, but if not - our close family members are nearby and we're all available to help with anything. Givat Nili is a small (population: 667) farming village in northern-central Israel, near the Mediterranean coast between Haifa & Tel Aviv. It's right in the middle of Israel's 'wine country', surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. There are a couple of boutique wineries in town and several more in the area. The nearby Alona nature reserve is a national park, and together with the rolling hills just past our back yard, make this little village a hot spot for hiking, biking and off-road adventures. You can find a beautiful natural spring flowing just down the hill, a short hike from our home. A central train station (Binyamina) is 10-15 minutes away, with trains running all day to get you to one of the most exciting cities in the world (TLV) in 30-40 minutes, and there's plenty of restaurants and culture in nearby Zichron Yaakov and Pardes Hannah. There are direct trains from Ben-Gurion airport to Binyamina station running round the clock, hourly (about 1 hour ride). A taxi from the station to Givat Nili is about 10-15 minutes and should cost you around 80 NIS. However, you should definitely get yourself a car because you'll need to drive for groceries and any tourism or sightseeing. There's plenty of parking space and it's a very safe area, easy to get around. Have Fun!
