Pie in the Sky Farm B & B for Two
Open for Columbus Day Weekend with three day minimum, a room for two. Rare B & B opportunity at Pie which is transistioning over to one week (more or less) apartment rentals. We will g ive preference to requests for renting as an apartment, over Bed & Breakfast this Autumn. Apartment is set up with local breads, local eggs, good coffee, teas, seasonings, alterntive milks, cooking oil, local butter, and either cream or milk. Half an attractive old farmhouse.Priced especially well for a group of friends or family traveling together (suite w bkf or apt rental). As an apt 775 per week. Two baths, 2 bedrooms w queen size beds, 1 bedroom w 3/4 size bed. Tiled hot tub in sunroom. OR: Rent as B & B: Then wonderful breakfasts (remember the 2nd "B"?) menu customized to your tastes. Two or more nights preferred, rare exceptions for visitors from other countries. Can sometimes accommodate a couple or a single reserving just days before - otherwise prefer a little more notice. Single guest costs less, suite rental costs more. Licensed and full service B & B. We raise sheep and ducks, apples and maple syrup. There are two indoor/outdoor cats who are not allowed in the bedrooms, but who occasionally wander thru the downstairs. We have excellent cleaning help so our experience has been good so far with visitors with mild allergies. Very rural setting, with small restaurants in the towns of Marshfield and Plainfield and quite excellent restaurants in the 4 nearby small cities such as Montpelier and St. Johnsbury Rent as apartment - then you may cook in our well stocked kitchen - or rent as a suite with your friends and enjoy the privacy of a small inn, and we'll prepare brkf. Suite price varies by number of guests. Pls See web site. Hot tub in sunroom. Refrig. space, snacks, porches, house phone, close pking in drivewy, living room solely for guests. WiFi, access to Netflix. Wood stove. (Full Kitchen with apt rental only. ) Lots of books and plants. We take our cues from the guests, usually have conversation while serving brkfast and when showing you around when you arrive - kind of the joy of a B & B! Very rural neighborhood, very quiet, not far off a paved road, well maintained roads, see the stars at night, sled, ski, or snow shoe from the door. A few local farms where we can get fresh eggs, meat, flowers and melons in season. We will meet Amtrak in Montpelier or you can pick up rental car there or at airport in Burlington.
