Isolated Chalet - Mountain Fairytale Rogla

"Mountain Fairytale" is a isolated mountain chalet at Rogla ski resort, with no other house around in radius of 2km. At altitude of 1,500 m, and in the middle of the wood, but only 200m from the main road. It is close the well known thermal spa Zrece and historical cities Celje, Maribor, ... Fantastic mountain chalet with everything you need for your special vacation. Perfect for skiing/biking/hiking holidays, long walks in pure nature or if you just need a super peaceful place to relax your body and soul from everyday stress in beautiful environment surrounded with nothing but nature. It can comfortably accommodate 5-6 persons. Bedrooms are on the first floor. There are 2 double beds, and one single bed. One room also has a nice balcony. On the ground floor, there is a small, but modern and well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms with toilet, and very cosy living room with fireplace, that can be also used for baking - pizzas for example :) One of our guests wrote this (and please read other reviews too ;-) Nomen est omen. It is a fairytale. No matter whether it is raining outside or you have pure sunshine, this is definitely a place to relax.... Location is perfect, just a few kms away from the mountain top from where one explore the pure and so far nearly untouched nature. There are easy (3.3 kms) to hard (30 kms) walks depending on your taste and mood. In the woods you are almost alone - despite summertime, we met only a very few hikers. In the wintertime you can also ski - Rogla is a well known resort in Slovenia. Or, turning into the other direction, you can enjoy the thermal baths in Zrece. In the house you will find everything you need - just take a look at the photos. Kitchen is fully equipped, living room is large and spacious. Bedrooms are in the attic so mind your head, beds in the larger bedroom are good (the other bedroom we did not use). Heating: there are electric radiators for those who like them - we were using the smaller fireplace instead. There were enough wood already cut - but you can cut wood yourself as well. I did so, it was fun. And last but not least: yes, it is a very romantic place. And no matter whether you like active holidays or just peace & silence, whether you have your kids with you or just a few days with your loved one: it is a perfect place to stay. Some extra info: Jacuzzi works only in summer months (or the water will be to cold to get in ;-) Touristic tax is payed at arrival: 2.5€/night/person for adults and 1.25€/night/person for children 7-18y/o House is located cca. 100m from the road surrounded only by nature, no neighbours. Small pond with trouts only steps away from the house and a beautiful small stream with fresh mountain drinking water. Pure nature! 10-15min walk to Hotel & Ski resort ( few min with car) Sleeping: 1. Big sleeping room for 3 persons + 1 extra + 1 baby bed (up to 3 years) 2. Second sleeping room has double bed. Shops are on just 2km away and the Therme are down in the valley approx. 10 km away. Several good restaurants with local dishes mostly with fresh ingredients from local farms in the neighbouring villages. Touristic tax - 2.5€/night adults, 1.25€/night kids
