Newly built with a modern kitchenette & bathroom, it is the ideal retreat for couples or the solo traveller wishing to stay close to the beach, airport, nearby hospitals or simply getaway. Including a garden outlook, light filled interiors, Egyptian cotton sheets & local pastries on offer - we invite you to book your next stay! Stay by the Bay is newly built with a north-westerly aspect, and has been designed to allow maximum sunlight and the cool ocean breeze. It has a green garden outlook and is located to the back of the property, completely detached from the main house. Note that the guest house has been fitted with vertical blinds for your privacy, comfort & versatility. If you wish to let in natural light while retaining your privacy, please just angle the blades accordingly. At Stay by the Bay, you will have private access to our self-contained guest house. The accommodation offers a mini bar fridge. Arrangements can be made to also store and access any larger items from a larger fridge in the main house if required. For longer stays, arrangements can be made to access laundry facilities in the main house if required. Ample unmetered street parking available outside the property. At Stay by the Bay, you will have our guest house completely to yourself! It is fully equipped with beach essentials and delicious local pastries are on offer with every stay. We live in the main house and are available day or night to answer any questions or help make your stay as comfortable as possible. We invite you to reach out & relax :) Stay by the Bay is located in Monterey, a small beach-side suburb hugging the sandy shores of Botany Bay. Footsteps to Lady Robinson Beach, with over 10km of uninterrupted walking / cycling paths & seaside bliss, dazzle yourself with everything on offer from majestic water views & local Mediterranean cuisines to the location's proximity to amenities & Sydney's premiere attractions. > Less than 50m from Lady Robinson Beach. > 2km to St George Public / Private Hospitals. > 7km to Sydney International / Domestic Airports. > 14km south of Sydney's city centre & CBD. > 20km to Captain Cook's Landing Place. > 1 - 2km to local cafes, restaurants and night life in Brighton-Le-Sands or Ramsgate. > 1km to Coles. Stay by the Bay is located less than 3 minutes' walk from local bus routes which service the Bay area. Hop on a short 10 minute bus ride and be taken to nearby Kogarah (947 bus) or Rockdale (478 bus) train stations which run direct services into the city and services to Sydney Domestic/International Airport (change at Wolli Creek station). There are also bus routes to Sydney International / Domestic Airports (420 bus from Rockdale station). Keen to explore our town by cycling? Ask us about uninterrupted cycling routes into the city. Missed the bus? Not to worry! We welcome drop off requests (free of charge!) to the local train stations (with advance notice & pending availability). We also welcome requests for pick up/drop off from/to Sydney International / Domestic Airports. This service comes with a small charge. ★ We respect vaccination preferences - however, please note that our home is only available for fully vaccinated guests. We will ask to sight proof of vaccination upon arrival. ★ We are currently not accepting international arrivals who are required to self isolate in NSW for 72 hours under the new Public Health Order effective from 28 November 2021. ★ Check in / out times are flexible. ★ We may be able to accommodate longer stays - please get in touch with details.
