Here at 'Experience The Gold Coast' you will find our home, quiet and comfortable while you relax and enjoy all the Gold Coast has to offer. As responsible hosts, both Jan and Ron are fully vaccinated. Jan & Ron are once again looking forward to "WELCOMING" their valued guests to share their sparkling clean home. Not only do we clean to Airbnb's COVIT standards but we thoroughly vacuum all bedding and sanitise with GLEN 20. Your rooms have comfortable beds, built in wardrobes, TVs, overhead fans and clean linen. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and the second twin singles. A spacious bathroom and separate toilet are located adjacent to your rooms for your exclusive use. Bathroom has bath, shower, all toiletries, hair drier, clean towels & bath robes supplied. Beach towels and bag also available for you to use. We can not accept children under 5 years of age as our home is not set up for young children. You are free to use the lounge room which is air conditioned and has a smart TV, Netflix, Apple TV and books are available for reading. The dining area is available for eating with tea, coffee-pod machine and biscuits available at any time. We do not allow cooking but guests can prepare salads and use our microwave for reheating food. While we respect our guests' privacy, we are happy to offer suggestions on places to visit such as Theme Parks, shopping, eateries, beaches, sporting venues etc. Brochures also available to look through. Our complex is located in a Conservation Area, backing onto bush land with native birds and the occasional visit from kangaroos and bush turkeys. We are centrally located with easy access to all the Coast has to offer. In our complex there is also a 9 hole golf course with moderate fees and clubs for hire; here you can play golf with the kangaroos who happily pose for photographs. Surface Paradise is famous for its white sand beaches and great surf, also has great shopping, restaurants, entertainment such as “Ripley’s Believe It or Not”, “Dracula’s”, “Infinity”. The Star Casino is a short distance away in Broadbeach. The Gold Coast is also famous for the ever popular “Theme Parks”. Open is Sea World and offering Whale Watching Tours, Movie World, Paradise Country and Outback Spectacular. We have several major shopping centres close by, including “WESTFIELD” and “HARBOUR TOWN” Outlet Shopping which has a Cinema complex, supermarket and many restaurants to please every taste. Should you have need of a doctor, or chemist, there is a very good medical centre and pharmacy across the road from us as well as a petrol station. If you have a loved one needing a hospital stay; we have our modern Gold Coast Private and University Public Hospitals close by. There is a regular direct bus service taking 18 minutes from our gate to the hospitals or a short drive by car. Our fabulous Broad Water Parklands stretch from Paradise Point to Southport. Along it are safe netted swimming areas, playgrounds, picnic areas with BBQs, walking tracks, cafes, coffee shops, all giving hours of fun as well as relaxation. For our sports minded visitors you are well catered for. Golf enthusiasts, we have many world class golf courses, the nearest being “PARK WOOD” which also has a good mini golf course, indoor trampoline, restaurant and bar. We are also 10 minutes from the latest attraction, “TOP GOLF“, which features family golf games for all ages and skill levels along with food, drinks; the first in Australia! For the bowls enthusiasts, nearby Helensvale Bowls Club offers world class greens and full club facilities. We are near to other sporting venues such as Hockey Fields, Olympic Swimming Complex, Broad Water Marathon route and a Netball Stadium. The hinterland contains many places worthy of a visit. One is Mt Tambourine which is a short 40 minute drive and features wineries, boutique breweries. magnificent views, a gallery walk, beautiful Botanical Gardens, bush walks and an elevated sky walk in the canopy of the lush rain forest. Visitor parking is available for guests opposite our home, inside our secure gated complex. Regular bus at the complex entrance, has connections to all the attractions on the Gold Coast, as well as Brisbane and Gold Coast Airports. Hire cars are also available from several groups. Alternatively we will drop off and pick up to local attractions for a reasonable fee. For visitors arriving from Brisbane Airport they can catch the Air Train to Helensvale and we will pick up from there free of charge. For visitors arriving from Coolangatta Airport we offer a pickup service for $50. We supply a continental breakfast of cereal, toast & spreads, fruit juice, fruit platter and tea/coffee or for an extra charge a cooked breakfast can be arranged. Our house offers all that you may require, including office space and free WiFi. Kitchen has a microwave oven for reheating takeaway food. A laundry is available, or for a small fee,we offer to wash, dry and fold your cloths. Iron and board are available on request. In our complex there is a public 9 hole golf course where you can play with the kangaroos. The course offers moderate fees and club hire.
