Bream Barn is a recently built cosy little house set within a pretty two acre garden, with open plan full kitchen/dining/lounge, woodburner, bedroom, huge shower, BBQ. Located between sandy Maenporth beach (10-15mins walk) & the pretty village of Mawnan Smith (also 10-15 mins walk) with cafes and restaurants within walking distance & a good pub! 10 mins walk from the South West Coast Path. 10 mins drive to the pretty seaside town of Falmouth. It is secluded, private & in a beautiful setting. Bream Barn is a private, eco friendly newly built barn with luxurious features - beautiful woodburning stove, stylishly furnished and new stainless steel appliances. It looks over a large private pretty area of our garden towards the sea.The shower room has an impressive large power shower. A beautiful retreat at any time of year in this gorgeous part of Cornwall. It has a private small gravelled area to sit outside and enjoy the distant sea/garden view and has a charcoal bbq. The south facing bedroom overlooks the garden, the French doors of the lounge open out on to the garden with views out to the sea. Its quiet & peaceful...... The barn is heated so its toasty warm and has plenty of hot water. There is also the woodburner to make it extra cosy in the winter months! The parking is communal with Bream Loft, Little Bream and Meudon Barn but Bream Barn is private and for sole use. Access is via about 5 steps so regrettably it is not suitable for those in a wheelchair. We live in the main house on the same piece of land. We have two other rental properties. Each of the 3 properties have virtually complete privacy and so you will hardly notice the other peoples presence. Everyone has their own parking spot Meudon is a very tranquil area yet so convenient for Falmouth (10 mins drive) and the Helford River (4 mins drive). Bream Barn is a larch timber clad detached barn set amongst 2 acres of beautifully sheltered gardens with huge trees, fruit trees and pretty flower beds. A car is recommended yet not essential The listing is marked as having Air Conditioning but it is in fact an MVHR system (mechanical ventilation heat recovery system) which constantly cleans and refreshes the air in the barn. There are peacocks that live in the adjoining land, sometimes they come and say hi, but only occasionally. We also have hens that peck around the garden. Meudon Farm is a dairy farm - you sometimes hear the cows mooing but you are more likely to hear the sound of the sea.....
