MOUNTAINOUS TRADITIONAL HOUSE IN MARIES, THASOS

A beautiful, mountainous green island, with very nice beaches and safe sea. Also full of traditional and interesting historic places. The house is situated on Thassos Island - Northern Greece. A beautiful, mountainous green island, with very nice beaches and safe sea. Also full of tradition and interesting historic places. The village it belongs is called "Maries", 500m above the sea and ten minutes by car from the nearest nice beach. ROOMS AND SPACES: Top level with three rooms (2 double beds, one with three beds), a kitchen and a bathroom. Ground level with a storage space. Garden in two levels. A new toilet with shower and a bath also out of the main body of the house, at the ground level. Notice: The house and its landscape are very interesting. They offer amenities and a "human living environment". They don't offer luxuries. The narrow streets of the village do not allow cars to move inside. The village itself and the whole of the island have so many interesting places that probably you need many years to discover and find out. You will never forget the morning coffee on the balcony of the house, the lunches and dinners under the vine yard and the human environment of the house and the village. You will have access to lovely beaches and great places! You will meet the traditional living on greek islands, like old times! Notice that you will have to move outside the village by car, taxi or bus.. Lovely village square with a small coffeeshop and a traditional taverns withlive music in the night. Great people, find out the Greek spirit! You can park your car at the entrance of the village. The house is about 5 minutes walking away. Also you can call a taxi or use the public transport. The house will be cleaned before your arrival. Extra sheets and pillow sheets will be left, in case that you will need them.
