Quiet idyllic Gite in St. Gonnery

PLEASE NOTE! Property is NOT available for short term stays of less than five nights. Well appointed 2 bedroom Gite on the edge of the village of St. Gonnery over looking the gardens and lake of the owners but with it's own access, car parking and private areas. All guests staying in the gite will find a small welcome pack on their arrival including bread, butter, milk, coffee, tea, marmalade bottles of water, red & white wine. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a tv which is set-up to receive English programmes, their are a variety of books to read, games to play and puzzles for those so inclined. The gite has it's own private areas where they can sunbathe, eat and barbeque, but they are also welcome to wander round the garden and fish in the lake (barbless hooks only please). We will of course meet and greet all our visitors regardless of arrival time and make sure you all that you need. We are available to assist and advise whenever needed but will otherwise allow guests to enjoy the gite and it's surroundings. We do have a couple of cats who are friendly and inquisitive so will doubtless be overjoyed at any attention they're given, however if you are not a cat person we are happy for you to "shoo" them away. This part of Brittany is very pretty and has a large number of towns and villages with ancient buildings and little places of interest. We're approximately an hour from both the North and West coasts of Brittany so if you want a day at the seaside it is easily accessed. Fishing, cycling, walking, canoeing and golfing can all be done within a short distance. The roads around our part of Brittany are quiet compared to most English ones so driving around the area is always an enjoyable experience. There is a bus that can be caught in the village, however, it's regularity is limited. The area is also ideal for those that like to explore by bike. We are in the process of putting together an information book on the surrounding area with as much information as we can that we hope will assist you in enjoying your stay. We must advise that we have a NO PETS policy.
