House is right in the centre of Horwich. The 125 bus runs every 10 minutes to take you to Bolton or Preston . Blackrod or Horwich Parkway train station are 1.5 miles away. Trains to Manchester are regular and cheap. Popular recreation area thanks to its walking and mountain biking. There are over 300miles of public footpaths/ bridle paths close by. The road biking is some of the best quite country roads in North west England. if you want challenging hills to Anglezarke Rake or flat gentle flat lanes around Southport and Fydle coast is within easy reach. There are many places to go and swim outdoors Lakes and resevoirs. I do Triathlons and thats why I moved here for the fantastic outdoors on my door step.
