WYNARDS FARM IS SITUATED ON THE EDGE OF WINFRITH NEWBURGH, PICTURESQUE VILLAGE CLOSE TO DURDLE DOOR, LULWORTH COVE, WORLD HERITAGE COASTLINE KNOWN AS THE JURASSIC COAST. SITUATED IN AN ELEVATED POSITION WITH UNINTERRUPTED VIEWS OVER THE SCENIC DORSET COUNTRYSIDE. PLEASE NOTE FROM 1ST JUNE, 2019, I AM OFFERING ROOM ONLY WITH CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST LEFT IN THE ROOM FOR GUESTS ARRIVAL AND PROVIDED SUBSEQUENT MORNINGS. Wynards Farm is in a unique setting up an old drove in a position overlooking fields and church tower and views for miles across the open countryside. Our bedrooms all have own entrance doors, allowing guests access as often and at anytime to their room. The SUNSET room has an external staircase, opening onto a spacious sunny room with ensuite shower room. There is a grass area outside with table and chairs. All rooms have hospitality trays (with a selection of teas, cafeterire coffee, homemade biscuits). fridges with fresh milk, hairdryers and televisions. Bathrooms have good quality toiletries and soft towels. We have two change over days a week Monday's and Friday's. So you can stay for a weekend arriving on the Friday and a mid week stay arriving on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. If you would like to stay for longer please message us and we will try and accommodate you. The glamping field is very popular with guests welcome to wander around, furniture for their use on the sunset veranda. Parking is in the courtyard close to the bedroom doors. My husband, Ray, and I run Wynards Farm with the help of our daughter, Annabel, and her partner, Lee. Guests are greeted and shown to their rooms and offered any information for places to eat and visit. Guests are shown to the dining room and if they wish around the garden. When we see guests at breakfast we ensuire where they are going and offer the "local secrets" of picturesque routes and places. Most of our guests enjoy the privacy of having their own front doors, but usually my husband and I are around if we are needed. I just love where I live, as explained before it is quite unique being a little off the beaten track but close to all local amenities. The views are wonderful, all around, even from my laundry room!! As my daughter and I have horses, 15 hh Evie and 16 hh. Wiggy. it is wonderful just to ride from my drive straight onto bridleways and likewise when walk Annabel's dog "Dennis". We hgave three Alpacas to welcome you, Bob, Cliff and Elvis, and hens laying eggs for your breakfast. The only other residents are in a few converted farm buildings. Wool, 2 1/2 miles away, is the nearest train station. There are more buses running in the season from the village and A352. The most convenient airport is Southampton Parkway, then a train to Wool. The rooms have folders listing our breakfast menu, places to eat, posh nosh, lunches and cream teas. Suggestions of places to walk, must do's, activities, places to visit and plenty more. There is a basket of leaflets for most attractions in the area and Ordnance survey maps for guests use. Packed lunches (12 hours notice required) can be ordered. Coolkeep bags and icepacks. For guests with special dietary requirements I provide homemade Gluten free bread and lemon shortbread, yeast free soda bread, special milks and yoghurts and vegetarian and vegan menus.
