Here is your opportunity to stay in an iconic 27ft 1975 Airstream Overlander Caravan imported from California! 'Bette' has been loving renovated in a modern industrial style with a queen bed, kitchenette, fridge, washroom, and lounge/dining area. The most unique and cosy space ever! * Please note if you are wanting to book for more than 1 couple, an extra queen bed is located in a nearby vintage caravan but only has a fan - no air conditioning. Please message to enquire about this add on. 'Bette' is nestled in a grassed area among the trees on our 50-acre property with a custard apple orchard and a variety of other fruit trees. When they are in season you are welcome to pick whatever you wish! We live in the main house (near the road and away from the Airstream). There is also The Cottage nearby, which may have guests, but there is complete privacy between the two dwellings. You may see us cruising around doing farm chores and the occasional lawn mowing duties, but it won't be intrusive and please feel free to say hi! We value the peace and quiet that this beautiful location brings and want you to have a tranquil and quiet stay, so we will leave you alone to enjoy it. However if you need anything we can be contacted by mobile during daylight hours. Ideally located between Lismore and Nimbin in the NSW Northern hinterland we are roughly an hour from Ballina Airport and likewise from the buzzing beachside town of Byron Bay. Escape the crowds and enjoy the peace and tranquility of Vintage Green, a little piece of paradise. Nearby attractions include the stunning geology of Nimbin Rocks, The Channon Craft Market, the hippy hub of Nimbin town, Lismore Organic Market, and Lismore restaurants and cafes only a 20 minute drive. Eltham pub is only half an hour away and the food is highly recommended. All this with Ballina airport, an easy and picturesque drive away. It is pretty essential that you have a car to access the many attractions in the area. There is no shower or toilet in the caravan but only a few steps away is the amenities hut which has a large hot shower, washbasin with mirror (and power points), and a composting toilet (we'll explain how to use it!). The Airstream has hot and cold running water, mains power, coffee machine, and bluetooth stereo. Adjacent to the van, there is a very roomy shared kitchen/lounge area with a microwave, bbq, twin gas hob, large fridge/freezer and hot and cold running water. There is also a large dining table and sofa for your use. Further down the property is a private creek & swimming hole - a great place to go on a hot day. It is an 800m walk or can be accessed (when not too muddy) if you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
