Rising Sun 🌞 Chalet

The Rising Sun Chalet is a countryside house, and just like the name indicates you can expect the music of nature, the scents from the local flora and probably you will be visited by some animals like frogs, bees, lizards, ants and in the summer, by mosquitos. The house is made by breathing stones and the voices of the different woods and steel. Despite that, you can count on peace, a good environment, a cosy and comfortable house while you stay here. The house, being in the countryside and having stone walls, tends to get a little dusty, so count on that. Also you should expect some friendly walk-ins: bugs of the field, spiders and spider webs, centipedes and others, they are harmless but sometimes they show up to share the house with us :) The sand of the garden has a very thin layer, having some stones and pieces of wood underneath, be careful with games and jumps. When guard dogs are on their night shift, they can be a bit loud... but... they keep us very secure! P.S. Their coffee break is usually in the morning because they work hard all night 😀 This house is 700m from a river beach, 2km from the center of Vila Verde and 10 minutes from Braga city, and it's not far from the Peneda-Gerês National Park. There are 2 restaurants with take away service and a pizzeria that i recommend, only 2 minutes from home. There are 2 bakeries near the house, only 600m or 10 minutes walking.
