The house is unique and very old, the first stones were laid in the '400, while the upper floors and the subsequent renovations date back to the '600. In recent years interiors has been renewed completly while the exterior was left in old stones to remember the house origins. You will be surprised by contrast between inside and outside immediately! You will have access to the studio, to the bathroom and to a second area you can use for reading, cooking and relax. I always do my best to make my guests feel comfortable, with the invaluable help of my family. Do not be afraid to ask our suggestions because even though we are always in a hurry, when we have time, we enjoy the place just like you (and maybe with you). Altoggio has long been the most populated fraction of Montecrestese. The historic center of the village is very old and has unique views for photography lovers. The unspoiled nature surrounding the place makes everything quiter and reduces the annoying noises of the city. There are countless routes on foot, by bicycle or motorbike that we would like to advise you. In addition to the historical center of Altoggio, which is worth a visit for the church of San Giovanni (recently renovated) and the centenary well; the Devil's bridge, built during the roman empire and destination for canyoning enthusiasts, is located near Altoggio on a cliff over the river Isorno. Going up to the pastures of Coipo you will find the Church of San Luca, from which you can enjoy breathtaking views in all seasons, but especially in winter after a tour in snowshoes. Tap water is 100% drinkable and very refreshing ! The thick walls of the house will guarantee you an exceptional cool even in the hottest summer days. In winter do not be afraid because the heating system is a bomb and you will always be stocked with extra blankets.
