Partridge Barn With Hot-Tub and Home Cinema

Partridge Barn is grade 2 listed but converted to an exceptional standard including a hot-tub, home cinema and superfast broadband! Close to the M5, with its central location it is ideal for exploring Mid-Devon, North Devon Coast, Exmoor, Exeter and South Devon. Most major appliances are by Miele. Rural situation near to Partridge Farmhouse (see separate listing) but totally separate. Both bedrooms can be configured as either doubles or twins. Up to two dogs are welcome (at additional charge). Dogs are not permitted upstairs ( there are stair gates) please do not allow them to sleep on the leather furniture, and they must sleep in the kitchen area. ( again , there is a gate to enable this. )All of the downstairs is tiled . There are extensive portfolios in the house detailing our favourite pubs and restaurants, walks and days out. The large kitchen is equipped with hob, oven, microwave, large fridge / freezer, dishwasher, mixer, toaster etc. and everything to enable you to cook with ease. There is a washing machine and separate tumble drier. The Home Cinema has an Epson projector, 105 in screen, DVD / Bluray player and some films. Chromecast enables you to cast your own music and videos. Games can be connected with an HDMI cable. There is underfloor heating with an automatic wood-pellet boiler stove in the lounge. Superfast broadband and Wifi is available throughout the property. Outside there is loads of parking and a patio with outside furniture and barbecue. The owners Bruce and Christine and manager Charlotte all live only a few minutes away and one or other will usually be there to meet you in person on arrival. If this is not possible for any reason you will be able to obtain the keys to let yourself in from a key safe and we will meet you later. We are only a phone call away to sort out anything for you. Charlotte will generally be able to accept supermarket deliveries for you. Truly rural - on a farm with fabulous peace and quiet. There are great walks in the vicinity. Dark skies to enjoy from the hot-tub at night. The North Devon Link road, A361 is only a couple of miles away and being so central in the county it is superbly situated for visiting the sights over much of Devon. Partridge Barn is a quarter of a mile from the village of Templeton, (no shopping or pub) approximately 5 miles from the market town of Tiverton, 12 miles from Tiverton Parkway station. A car is invaluable for enjoying the surrounding area. Bed linen and towels are provided. Rice, flour, coffee, tea, sugar, oil, barbecue charcoal provided to get you started. Partridge Barn is secluded with dark skies at night and very quiet! Please remember though that the property is surrounded by farmland with sheep and cattle so dogs cannot be allowed to roam free. There is a neighbouring shoot so in winter gunfire can be heard on shooting days. Up to two dogs accepted at £20 per stay.
