Shepherds Hut, nestled in a picturesque Orchard.

Welcome to Morgan Suite, our gorgeous Shepherd's Hut tucked away in the corner of a quiet apple orchard, on our family farm. Morgan Suite was brand new in 2020. A generously sized self-contained Shepherd's Hut with everything you should need, you can enjoy time in your private hot tub or get cosy next to the fire pit. It really is the perfect location to help you relax and de-stress, with plenty of interesting place to go close by. Morgan Suite is a spacious Shepherd's Hut which includes a king-sized bed (accessible from both sides), double waterfall shower facilities, cosy wood burner and underfloor heating for the colder days or nights making Morgan Suite the perfect place to stay all year round. There are beautiful views which you can admire through the bifold windows from your bed. The orchard is surrounded by fields, the ideal spot for walking or cycling across the moor and located approximately 200 metres from the River Cary. Towels will be provided for your stay, plus complimentary tea, coffee, Nespresso coffee pods and milk for your first morning and even some fresh eggs from our chickens and Broadacre Farm apple juice picked from the apple trees that surround you. Morgan Suite contains cooking facilities and an outdoor fire pit to cook on, but there are plenty of great places to eat locally which we would be happy to recommend to you on request. Morgan is located adjacent to the farm house in a secluded corner of the apple orchard. We look forward to welcoming you but will leave you to enjoy the peace and will be contactable should you have any questions during your stay. Henley is a rural hamlet, located on the Somerset Levels. It is a peaceful part of the countryside with access to many scenic walks on your doorstep but also close by to local amenities. You can treat yourself to a locally brewed cider at the Bere Cider Company or some tasty food from Pitney Farm Shop. Bike, kayak and paddle board hire is available from a local town in Langport for those wanting to get out and about during their stay. Langport and Somerton are the closest towns both 4 miles away with all amenities, both picturesque with interesting history, with many independent shops and pubs. You are also only a 25 minute drive away from the famous Glastonbury Tor in the quirky town of Glastonbury which is definitely worth a visit. There are plenty of walks and cycle routes straight from the door step of the Shepherd's Hut. We have included details of the local taxi companies in the guest information pack and have also included some of our favourite walks and places we think you would love to visit. Access to Morgan Suite is down an uneven single track road, used by other farm vehicles so please take care when driving especially at night. Please note: we cannot accept pets or children/infants due to suitability and safety of the property.
