Our beautiful cottage is situated in a peaceful part of Russell island. Few neighbors except curlews and kookaburras. Just a 15 min ferry ride from Redland Bay terminal, runs 1/2 hourly. Catch the passenger ferry or you can bring the car on the ferry for about $110 return. There are 2 clubs with free shuttle bus (no membership needed!) Also cafes, takeaways, IGA. Explore the other islands, the interisland ferry is free! Sit out on the deck and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the huge bushland reserve beside us. Have a bbq.We have fruit trees, seasonal herb and vegetable gardens that you are welcome to pick from. Inside its aircon and fans. Nick Scarli leather lounges to kick back on n read or watch the big smart tv. Unlimited and good free wifi. Main bed also has tv with Netflix provided free. All Bosch appliances in chefs kitchen with all the equipment to turn out a banquette or just steak n eggs!, coffee maker and extra wine fridge. There is fishing gear and 2 paddleboards. 2 push bikes. Board games and the fire trail runs past us for leisurely bushwalks. We are foodies and frequent travellers so have set up our getaway cottage for comfort and convenience . Bring your favourite Nespresso pods . The entire property is yours for the stay, we don't live full time here. we do keep our boat in the carport...unfortunately not for guest use. We are available by phone, otherwise you wont see us. Lovely slow pace on the island. Queensland as it used to be. Fishing from the jetty at sunset. Your so close to Brisbane but you would have to drive 2hrs inland to get the same tranquility and then it's hot n dry, we are in the middle of Moreton Bay! Taxi and bus meets the ferry.
