The Hayloft - full of charm

Escape to the Gateway to Charnwood Forest and enjoy a stay at our newly converted hayloft. Nestled in a semi-rural location within walking distance to Bradgate Park, Lady Jane Grey’s childhood home, Cropston Reservoir and Switherland Wood Nature Conservation Review Site. Only a 10-15 minute drive/bus journey to Leicester city centre where you can visit; King Richard III Visitor Centre, the National Space Centre, Leicester City football club & the home of Leicester Tigers. Our newly converted property features a ground floor that consists of a fully fitted, equipped open plan kitchen, within with kitchen there is a breakfast bar style table and bar chairs (high chair can be provided on request, shared with an open vaulted living area with a stylish sofa bed that allows seating for 5 (sleeps 2), a TV and rainy day games! The separate bathroom is equipped with towels and toiletries for your convenience. A quirky spiral staircase leads you to a mezzanine style bedroom with a double bed, comfy cushions, chest of drawers and even room for a cot bed (provided on request). We have really thought about your experience staying with us and we welcome you to The Hayloft on arrival with milk, bread, tea, coffee and even a wine list too! We will leave a small quantity of dishwasher tablets for your use but if there is anything you would like that we haven't considered for you then do feel free to reach out us. Shared private parking; parking is to the left of the Farrier’s driveway in front of the garages. Our driveway is partly shared with you so you may see us commuting to and from. We are child friendly having two of our own and we can provide child friendly cutlery, plates and cups on request. We have a high chair and a travel cot available if required so please don’t hesitate to ask. Our family home is adjacent to The Hayloft so we are at hand if required. We do have pets (two dogs) which you may see from time to time but The Hayloft is private and detached. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
