This cabin is the perfect get-a-away as it's right in central PAEROA within walking distance to shops, cafes and all that Paeroa has to offer. Quiet location and the cabin is modern with all facilities like air-con, comfortable bed large shower, kitchenette and smart TV. Lovely private garden area with seating and umbrella. If you are spending a few days here you will have plenty of time to visit Te Aroha (Spa Town), Waihi and Thames (Gold Mining Towns) plus, you are at the gateway to the scenic Coromandel. The cabin is set at the back of a 1914's restored railway cottage and is in a quiet street one back from Paeroa's main road. Parking is off street and there is a separate entrance that leads to your cabin. There's an undercover deck with two comfy outdoor chairs plus a private patio garden area with outdoor table and chairs. Perfect lounging areas! Paeroa is the Antique Town of New Zealand with interesting vintage and antiques shops to explore. Check out where the locals eat at The Refinery Cafe and The Courtyard Cafe. The Falls Bistro & Restaurant is a secret I can't keep as the food and setting is amazing! The perfect place for brunch or dinner. The Hauraki Rail Trail is the one of New Zealand's most accessible cycle trails with Paeroa being the perfect base. Close to Hamilton, Auckland and Tauranga it's the perfect couple of days or weekend away. The temperate climate on the Coromandel Peninsula and the Hauraki Plains provides a great all-year round riding experience. The trail has some of the best scenery in New Zealand and includes riding through the stunning Karangahake Gorge, one of the "14 wonders of New Zealand”. The trail follows the path of two historic railway lines, running from Paeroa through Waikino to Waihi. Plus there's the Thames, Te Aroha and Kaiaua rides. Getting around Paeroa is easy. Everything in the town is within walking distance of the cabin. Cycling Paeroa and surrounding areas can be fun and tourist towns like Waihi, Te Aroha and Thames are a short scenic drive away. Across the road from your cabin is a lovely 10 mins river walk. You can take this walk and then do a loop around the town. There's a public swimming pool just across the road as well as bike hire for the Hauraki Rail Trail. Paeroa has an amazing scenic golf course with specials on Fridays if you like golf. Paeroa has lots of antique shops and cafes - which is a fun way to spend a day. On your door step is the famous Karangahake Gorge with interesting walks and cycle way through gold mining history. Waihi, Te Aroha and Thames Coast only a short drive away. Plus, you are at the gateway to the scenic Coromandel.
