Fancy a cosy retreat in 2022? Nestled between the two peaks (Great & Little Sugarloaf) is The Sugar Pod. This comfortable, rustic cabin is the perfect countryside escape . Relax & unwind amid the rolling hills of Wicklow. Ideal for walkers. Enjoy the scenic view & catch a glimpse of local wildlife. Located close to main attractions Glendalough, The Wicklow Way, Powerscourt & Wicklow Mountains. 35 mins to Dublin City Centre. Greystones & Bray have restaurants, bars etc The Sugar Pod offers the perfect getaway for a couple. (A travel cot can be provided upon request) There is kitchenette complete with basics (tea, coffee, milk), double bed, mini fridge, microwave, plates, dishes, cutlery etc, reclining sofa , bathroom with shower unit and a kitchen table with seating. It is well insulated so it is suitable 365 days a year. There is a picnic table located outside the pod which is an ideal spot for breakfast on a fine day. At night it is the perfect place to look at the stars. Outside tap for washing hiking boots etc. Parking outside the Pod. We are available to answer any questions you may have - we live 90 metres away from the pod but you will have your own space, privacy and field to enjoy. Powerscourt House and Gardens - 8 minute drive Wicklow Mountains National Park - 25 minute drive Kilmacurragh Botanic Gardens - 20 minute drive Avoca Handweavers - 3 minute drive Glendalough - 30 minute drive There is a pub and shop within walking distance (10 mins walk) - The local pub serves nice food. Bus stops are located in the village which can take you to Dublin City Centre. There are train (DART) stations in both Bray and Greystones
