Country house in Kendal Town

My home is a 5 minute walk from Kendal Town Centre, which is a small market town in the gateway to the beautiful lake district. My spacious cosy home is very comfortable with 2 double and 1 single bedroom. 2 bathrooms, log burner and central heating. The house is set high above the main road making it quite and private with views to neighbouring hills. There is no parking at the property, but you can park around the corner which is only a two minute walk, after off loading at the back. The Kitchen is large and cosy with a gas fire, perfect for group meals. Two double bedrooms and one Single. Downstairs has a shower room and toilet and upstairs a bathroom. The lounge has a log burning stove for those lovely winter nights. You can access all my space except the basement which I use for my own use. I will be available throughout your stay via phone or I will give you a number of a person to contact for your questions. Kendal is a small market town on the fringe of the Lake District. It is home to vibrant arts centre, fine museums and a renowned art gallery. Historically, the "Auld Grey Town" was one of the most important woollen textile centres in the country. You can easily get around using the bus and train from Kendal. I provide a very basic breakfast, including oats,milk spreads. You are welcome to use.
