It is close to the forest for country walks to suit walkers of all abilities. The lake offers wonderful opportunities for photographs, fishing and picnics. This area is renowned for its magical forest and ancient stones. If you want a flavour of local cuisine, Huelgoat's restaurants and crêperies are a must. See other room listings for Talbot and Baglan. This listing is for one bedroom. Margam, has a double bed and its own bathroom, with toilet, sink and shower. Shower cream and hand soap is provided. Two USB charge points and a SmartPhone docking port are available in this room. We have a spacious breakfast room where a continental breakfast is served in the morning. Huelgoat has a friendly atmosphere and you may be pleased to find that most of the restaurants have an English version of the menu. There are two banks with ATMs and a laundrette in the town centre should you require them. We have several good crêperies in Huelgoat, some of them overlooking the lake. This is a seasonal town and some of the businesses may be closed or have reduced hours during the winter months. There is a market in the town square every Thursday morning. There are also very good restaurants where you can enjoy Breton, French or Columbian cuisine; as well as pizzas. We will gladly recommend our favourites to you. Visit La Roche Tremblante (The Trembling Rock) where Gareth can tell you how to make a 350 tonne stone wobble with your bare hands! Huelgoat is a wonderful place for getting around, whether you are on foot, cycling, motorcycling or travelling by car. Roads are generally quiet and well maintained. There is a public bus service to the larger towns of Carhaix and Morlaix, and the full trip costs just €2 per person each way. Morlaix is a lovely town to explore and from there, you can catch a high speed train (TGV) to anywhere in France. We want you to know that we’re doing our part to help our Airbnb guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, bannisters, etc.) before you check in.
