Our home is bright and cheerful and has a welcoming feel. I am a “want-to-be” bed and breakfast host but my home doesn’t work for that purpose - so AirBnB here I am! I have really enjoyed every guest I’ve hosted and love having the opportunity to meet new friends. I’m also delighted to share ideas with you about what restaurants and attractions are in the area if you have the time to explore! Your private room is part of a large home and you are welcomed to the other shared spaces. This private room has a full size memory foam mattress, in-room fridge, and space to store and hang your clothing. The shared bathroom is just down the hall and may be used by other AirBnB guests. Our Chalfont neighborhood is lovely and there is a wonderful park across the street for a morning run or an evening stroll. We are walking distance from Owowcow (gourmet ice cream), 10 minutes from the Montgomery Mall and 6 minutes from the center of historic Doylestown, 1.5 miles from Lake Galina, 3.5 miles from Del Val University, 25 minutes from Peddlers Village in Lahaska and from Merck in West Point, and only an hour train ride to Center City Philadelphia! All shared spaces in our home, including our lovely back deck and fire pit, are available for your shared use. I am available most of the time as I work from home. I am happy to share a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, or provide you with your space. We live in a lovely neighborhood with access to major roads, shopping, entertainment, and excellent food. If you need a morning run or an evening stroll there is a park across the street with well maintained paths, and we ate a short walk to the SEPTA train station. You are welcomed to park on the street in the neighborhood. There is plenty of space. We are also a 10 minute walk from the Chafont R5 SEPTA train station if you would like to catch a ride to Doylestown or to Center City Philadelphia My college age children are often around but will respect your space.
