Terlingua Mining Ruin - Lofthouse

Step back to a simpler time in this comfortably updated authentic mining ruin in the heart of the ghost town. Built by miners a hundred years ago, its spacious porch affords the best view of the Chisos Mountains and Big Bend National Park. The cabin accommodates two people. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting loft, a bedroom, a bathroom and a spacious porch with a sitting area and a day bed. Please note that the bathroom is separate from the house, but only a few steps out the back door. An excellent base of operations for all outdoorsy folk. There is no Wi-Fi available on premises, but guests can access it at La Posada coffee shop nearby. I live close by and am happy to share with you my knowledge of the area and to make suggestions of activities you might enjoy. It is only a few minutes from La Posada Milagro coffee shop with free wifi. There are two restaurants and bars within a few blocks, The Starlight Theatre and the Taqueria.. Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park are both within a short drive. Bed linens are 100% cotton and laundered with eco friendly detergents.
