The Farmhouse at La Bonnaigue

Opened in July 2018 - The farmhouse at La Bonnaigue is situated along a quiet no through road in 17 acres of beautiful countryside in the regional Perigord Limousin natural park. The house itself is around 200 years old with many original features. A conservatory leads through to a large lounge, kitchen-diner. Each of the 3 bedrooms has an ensuite shower room. Outside there is a private forecourt, covered outside dining area, boule court and heated 8x4m swimming pool with entertainment deck The house has full central heating, and a log burner in the lounge. There are two staircases, one leading to the master bedroom and the other to the remaining two bedrooms. The kitchen diner is fully equipped with full size oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave oven and dishwasher. For entertainment there is wifi, TV and a selection of board games. To the front of the house is a private forecourt with outdoor seating, to the rear a private covered dining area with dining table and 8 chairs, a barbecue, boule court and heated 8x4 swimming pool with 58 square meter entertainment deck consisting of sunbathing area with loungers, chairs and pergola with shade, a shower/ changing area and summer kitchen with drinks fridge. We live in the adjacent property separated by a large barn, we will meet guests on arrival and be available for any questions or assistance required while respecting guests privacy. La Bonnaigue is a small quiet hamlet in the commune of Pageas. 3kms to the village of Pageas or small town of Chalus containing local commerce, restaurants, bars and weekly market. There are walks right from the doorstep, the local swimming lake is a short drive away with picnic areas, crazy golf, zip wire across the lake, treetop adventure courses and velorail. The surrounding area contains many beautiful villages, chateau, lakes, walks and stunning countryside steeped in history and the areas association with Richard the Lionheart. A car is advisable. Please note we have a large (very friendly) dog, a cat and free range chickens. Swimming pool open 1st June to 30th September
