Old Admiralty Cottage Family Room sleeps up to 5

We are situated in the beautiful area of The Lizard about 1 mile from Lizard village. We offer free wifi and offroad parking. All accommodation is ground floor level and consists of a large downstairs bedroom and an adjoining shower room. The accommodation will sleep up to 5 people with 1 double bed, 1 single bed as well as 1 bunk bed. There is a small dining area with a table and four chairs if required. There is also a garden seating area outside the main door. COVID-19 Industry Standards met We are located in an area of outstanding natural beauty. About one mile from The Lizard village on the main road from Helston and very easy to find. Kynance Cove is about one mile from here on foot. Cadgwith Cove is also about one mile from here on foot. Both footpaths join with the South West Coast Path. There is one large bedroom, a private shower room and a dining area. The accommodation is downstairs. You will have your own entrance with a key. There is a small TV in the bedroom. You will be able to self check in and have your own key. There is a washing machine available if needed for a small fee. There is an outside seating area by the front door. We provide bed linen, towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. COVID-19: we have made all the necessary additions to our routines to comply with the Government guidelines on Covid-19 in order to maintain cleanliness and social distancing. Between the arrival and departure of each guest the rooms are thoroughly cleaned. Clean bed linen and towels are provided. Frequently touched surfaces and objects are cleaned and disinfected. This includes keys, door handles, cupboard handles, TV remote, surfaces, bed rails, etc. The communal areas are the stairs and landing. There is hand gel available at the front door. We have three guest rooms, each with a private shower room and toilet. Each bathroom is thoroughly cleaned after each guest has checked out. We have met the Covid-19 Industry Standard in partnership with Visit England. There will always be someone available to answer any questions or offer help in any way. We do not provide hot cooked breakfasts but a self-service buffet breakfast consisting of porridge, cereal and biscuits is available in your room. There is a microwave, small fridge, kettle, milk, tea, coffee, sugar and hot chocolate in your room. All appliances are cleaned and disinfected after each guest checks out. New containers for tea and coffee are provided for each check in. This is a unique area in Cornwall and there are many interesting places to explore. The Lizard lighthouse is nearby and Lizard point is famously known as the most southerly point of mainland UK. There are many local gift shops and coffee shops in the Lizard Village. If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay then it is perfect for you. We are located on the main road and very easy to find. The buses to Helston, Redruth and Penzance pass by. If you are arriving by bus just ask the driver to stop at Kynance Garage. There are no set bus stops here and we are located directly opposite the garage. There are footpaths to Kynance Cove, Cadgwith Cove and Ruan Minor all linking to the South West Coast Path. If you enjoy walking and exploring unique Cornish coves and countryside this location is ideal. Although this is a rural and remote area of Cornwall we live on a busy main road. Please do not attempt to walk this road as there are no pavements and the traffic is fast. I often give lifts to people wishing to visit Lizard point. If you would like a lift to the village or to be picked up from the village please ask me. I do not mind at all. If you prefer to walk please ask and I will tell you the route to Lizard village by public footpath which is longer but very much safer and more enjoyable.
