Take a brief 5 minute drive and be in Belconnen town centre. In 10 minutes you could be in the city or Dickson ! Don’t have a car? One bus at your doorstep will take you into Belconnen, the City, Dickson or even Woden! This top floor, 1 bedroom apartment boasts 52 square metres of living, with an open plan kitchen and living area that is flooded with light. The large balcony off the living room and bedroom has expansive views of the Black Mountain Nature Reserve and Telstra Tower. BEDROOM: The bedroom has a queen-sized bed topped with fresh linen that is professionally cleaned and pressed for your stay. The mirrored built-in robe provides ample wardrobe space for your luggage and includes hangers for your clothing. There is also a pedestal fan inside the cupboard that you can use. BATHROOM: The bathroom is stocked with towels, toilet paper, body wash and shampoo. KITCHEN: The kitchen is equipped with: - fridge/freezer - electric stovetop - oven - microwave - dishwasher - plates, mugs, glasses, and utensils - cooking pots and pans - basic cooking and cleaning items, including salt and pepper, olive oil and dishwasher powder We stock a simple selection of food for breakfast such as muesli, milk, coffee and tea. Guests will need to purchase food items for longer stays. LIVING ROOM: The living room has a comfortable couch and a full HD LED smart TV, with Netflix included free of charge! The apartment is also equipped with unlimited wifi for quick and easy access to the Internet. Reverse cycle split system heating and cooling keeps you cool in summer and toasty warm in winter. LAUNDRY: The apartment has its own washing machine and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board. BALCONY: A comfortable outdoor setting allows you to sit back and enjoy the view across native bushland to Telstra Tower. COMMON AREA: Due to the pandemic, common areas may be closed without prior notice. Please refer to the updated guidelines and announcements in the premises at the time of your arrival. There is a key-safe for self check-in. Only 1 guest key set is provided. Please take care not to lose the keys as their replacement will incur a fee. We provide self check-in instructions and leave you to enjoy your stay! However, if there are any issues please contact me through the Airbnb app and I will be able to provide assistance. Take a 5 minute walk to the Australian Institute of Sport, where you can swim in the same Olympic swimming pool as our Olympic athletes. University of Canberra and the Bruce campus of the Canberra Institute of Technology are also just a walk away. There are a few restaurants and bars close by (including one just downstairs), or Belconnen Westfield is only five minutes by car and the City Centre is just a 10 minute drive. Take the number 3 or 7 buses directly from your door to the Australian National University or the City. We don't provide HDMI cable however, you can bring your own if you wish to connect your laptop with the TV. Any violation of our no-party rule will result in a $2000 non-negotiable penalty, in addition to any damages.
