Built in 1897 by the Thurman-Phillips family, this historic home has been completely restored to it's original beauty. With four (4) full size bedrooms and four (4.5) bathrooms. The owners live in the home and you can rent one bedroom or all four. Located in the small town of Sonora, Ky just off I-65, this home is only 45 minutes south of Louisville and 45 minutes north of Bowling Green. This beautiful historic home was built by the family in 1897 and restored in 2003. The furnishings are all family owned pieces from the original home. If you love history, you will love this home. Guests have access to the kitchen, sunroom and library as well as the beautiful grounds which include a courtyard. You can be as private or social as you prefer. This small, quiet town is nestled in rural Kentucky. You may even see an Amish buggy pass by. We are located only 15 minutes from Elizabethtown and 20 minutes from your first site on the Bourbon Trail. travel south and you are 45 minutes from Historic Mammoth Cave or go east and you are q0 minutes from Lincoln Farm.
