Aspen House Comfort Plus! B & B

Aspen House is a modern home located in the quiet semi-rural town of Rangiora 25 minutes north of Christchurch International airport. Your welcoming host Gilly will ensure you have a comfortable, warm, quiet, clean place to stay ( my home is not realy suitable for young children) and a light, fresh breakfast. My lovely home is where I live and is very relaxing and friendly. Guests have their own large, separate bathroom, and can feel free to make tea and coffee and enjoy a nice light breakfast at their leisure. Guests are welcome to enjoy the living area and relaxing outdoor areas-a great spot for breakfast or drink on a warm summers evening. Guests are free to "heat" food in the kitchen but no cooking of "meals" is available. (Excellent cafes/restaurants nearby) Gilly is well traveled, is a "cruising fan" and has enjoyed many cruises around Europe and Asia. A natural host, Gilly enjoys meeting people from around the world and ensuring each guest has a relaxing and enjoyable stay in her lovely home. I live in a very quiet, pleasant neighbourhood. Wonderful Wineries (New Zealand Wines are world re-nouned) are twenty minutes away and Hanmer (Hot Pools) is appx an 80min drive. The wonderful French sea-side town of Akaroa is also appx just under a 2 hr drive away. Plus fabulous cafes and restaurants are only a five min drive from my home!!! Rangiora is about 20 minutes from Christchurch accessed by a motorway. The town itself has an excellent range of local shops and cafes. It is a great base for travel on to places like Kaikoura and Hanmer Springs. Or simply do a Wine Trail in North Canterbury, (These can be arranged by Gilly if necessary) Please feel free to inquire. airport pick-up service can be arranged, also advice etc on our local sights and bookings and transport to Wineries etc can be organised. I am available to provide guests with a tour/sightseeing of Christchurch and surrounds at a competitive price.
