Safe community conveniently near many attractions and employers in Houston, Clear Lake, NASA and Galveston. Ideal for long-term stays as well as short-term vacationers. Relax in your living room that has 2 comfortable recliners and 2 swivel armchairs, great for conversation or watching the game or a movie. The living room has a 55" flat screen Wi-Fi connected Smart TV with Netflix (Wi-Fi and Netflix are free). The two bedrooms also each have their own 32" flat screen Wi-Fi connected Smart TV with Netflix, independent of each other and ideal for roommates who need their own space. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed with new pillow-top mattress on adjustable base; all new, quality linens and pillows; nightstands; reading lamps; built-in desk and chair; built-in window seat overlooking pool and deck; and plenty of storage and hangers. Each bedroom has its own full bath. One bedroom has a walk-in shower and the other a bathtub and shower. Each bathroom is fully equipped with amenities including towels, floor mats, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and bath soap. The apartment has an iron and ironing board. Washer and dryer available to guests 24/7. The kitchenette has a full-sized refrigerator/freezer with icemaker, microwave oven, deep sink, and small appliances to include induction single burner cooktop, electric skillet, electric griddle, blender, crock pot, toaster, waffle maker and Keurig coffee maker as well as a portable electric oven perfect for pizzas or casseroles. (There is also a propane grill downstairs near the pool.) The kitchen is stocked with coffee/tea/creamer/sweetener, table service, pots, pans, bowls, utensils, hand towels, everything but the food. The dining area has a comfortable counter-height island and 4 chairs, great for meals, laptop work or card games. Note that this is on the second floor, 17 steps up a wide and well-lit interior stairway. If you see us around, feel free to knock and visit or join us in the pool. You are of course welcome to use the pool when we aren't there. There are a lot of times when we're not around, but we are always available via text and phone for any questions you might have. Your apartment has a private exterior entrance with keyless entry. We will provide the code to you with your confirmed reservation. This code is changed with every new guest and the old code erased for your security. Shoreacres is a quiet, boating- and fishing-friendly community with tree-lined streets and single family homes. The only business within city limits is the Houston Yacht Club. Enjoy fishing in Taylor Bayou at Heron Park or in Galveston Bay at the private Shoreacres fishing pier, both within 5 blocks. Circle Park is one block from our home and has a playground, basketball court and playing field. Shoreacres was recently recognized as the safest community in the Houston area. Best to have your own transportation. Uber is available in the community and will bring you here from either of the airports (Hobby International and Bush Intercontinental). We are 5 blocks from Galveston Bay and Shell Beach. We are 10 minutes from Sylvan Beach, from Bay Forest Golf Course, and from the dining and entertainment venues at the Kemah Boardwalk. We are 15 minutes from NASA's Johnson Space Center, 30 minutes from Houston Hobby Airport and 50 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport. We are 45 minutes from Houston and 45 minutes from Galveston and the Galveston Cruise Ship Terminal. We are an easy commute to the area's largest employers.
