Manoir de Thiot, Gîte sur Loire, Nevers, Burgundy

Built in the 16th Century on the banks of the Loire, the Manoir de Thiot and its outbuildings stand in a peaceful and green rural setting. Just a few minutes away from Nevers, the 3 hectare estate is a pretty remnant of a piece of Burgundian history that we have taken care to restore in 2020. It offers a large heated swimming pool from mid-April to mid-October and a beautiful garden. The Manor is the main residence of the estate. Flanked by the swimming pool, it enjoys a view of the domain and the wooded surroundings. It offers 4 bedrooms including: > 1 parental suite, > 2 bedrooms, one with separate or double beds, > 1 dormitory with 3 single beds and a mattress (if necessary), ideal for accommodating children. You will also enjoy the dining room, the living room and the kitchen which both open towards the garden, the terrace under the rose garden and the heated swimming pool. All parts of the accommodation are accessible to you; we thank you, however, for respecting our work and taking care of the premises. We remain at your disposal by phone or email. The property offers the advantage of being close to a multitude of activities, whether they are equestrian (equestrian center adjacent to the property), acrobatic (tree climbing center 4 min by foot) or pedestrian: you can take long walks or bike rides in the woods and along the Loire. We are also 15 minutes away from Nevers, a town full of history, 10 minutes away from the Magny-Cours circuit and 40 minutes from the wine-growing area of Sancerre and Pouilly where you can taste very good wines. The Manoir de Thiot has the advantage that it is isolated from noise while being not far from the national road which joins Nevers to Pouilly-en-Auxois. Access to major roads is therefore easy but requires a car. You will have access to the domain via a path which runs alongside the ponds and the equestrian center. You have the possibility to park your cars in the property at the appropriate places. Please respect the condition of the lawn and the neighbor's space. Instructions for your arrival at the lodgings: > Arrival is from 4 p.m. Please contact us to let us know the exact time of arrival. > Coming from the D981, you will follow the small road which runs along the ponds and the stables on your left in order to arrive at the lodgings, still on your left side. We have placed road signs so that you can find us easily :-). Once you arrive, please park your car inside the property and not outside, the latter being a private area. > The keys to the gîtes are in a small box for this purpose (we will give you more information as you approach your arrival). > Free access "Manoir de Thiot" WiFi. Instructions for your departure from the gîtes: > Please remove the sheets and put them at the foot of the used beds, > Empty the fridge, > Turn off all the lights, > Close shutters and doors with key, > Take out the trash.
