Located in the village of Caeathro on the A485 road from Caernarfon to Beddgelert in Snowdonia. This totally newly refurbished wheelchair accessible 4 bedroom semi detached house comprising ground floor bed room/adjacent wet room,off road parking and private south west facing garden. Panoramic views towards the Menai Straits and the Snowdonia mountain range. Downstairs is fully wheelchair accessible with the internal doors measuring 838 mm wide. There is a comfortable sitting room with an electric stove and TV. The open plan kitchen diner has a table seating 8 persons. There’s a fridge freezer,washing machine,microwave,kettle, toaster,cafetière,crockery, pans and glassware. You are able to access the rear garden through the double patio doors. Also on the ground floor there’s a separate double bedroom accommodating a double bed with an adjoining wetroom which is ideal for a wheelchair user or elderly persons. In the upstairs area there are 3 bedrooms; two of which are double, one containing a double bed and the other having a King size. There`s also a single bedroom accommodating a single bed which is ideal for a child. The family size bathroom has a bath and a separate shower cubicle. Guests can access the entire house. The ground floor being fully accessible by wheelchair users. I will be available to welcome you and show you around most of the time as we live near by. The house key will be situated in a key safe by the front door. I have guide books describing circular walks in Snowdonia, Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula. I will also be happy to advise you on the best local sea, course and game fishing spots. As a member of the local Seiont Gwyrfai and Llyfni fishing society I also have access to a specialised wheely boat for wheelchair users on Lake Dywarchen in Rhyd Ddu, Snowdonia which is situated within 20 minutes drive from the house. The small village of Caeathro with it`s convenient store,garage/petrol station and post office is 1 mile from the historical town of Caernarfon with it`s famous Norman Castle, harbours,arts centre/cinema,leisure centre,golf course and excellent eateries. From Caernarfon you can take the Welsh Highland Railway through truly spectacular scenery through Snowdonia to Porthmadog and Blaenau Ffestiniog. The village is ideally situated for walking and climbing in Snowdonia, swimming and surfing from the Llyn and Anglesey beaches,sailing on the Menai Straits (See Plas Menai Water Sports Centre) which is 5 miles down the road, cycling and visiting exciting destinations such as Zip World and Bounce Below and the Hydro Electric cavern of Electric Mountain in Llanberis. Add to this the Snowdonia Surf Dolgarrog in the Conwy valley and Blaenau Ffestiniog Slate caverns (for a wet day). Less than a mile down the road is Parc Coed y Sipsi (Gypsy Wood Park) and within 5 miles Greenwood family park which is very popular with young children and adults. The house is accessed via a private parking area which has ample parking for 3 vehicles. There are no steps making it perfect for wheelchair users with a concrete path to the side of the house leading to the private south westerly facing rear lawned garden with a separate decking area. There`s also a garden shed to store the BBQ and garden furniture. Fortunately the sun circles the garden from early morning till dusk. The buses to Caernarfon - change for Bangor, Porthmadog and Pwllheli, Llanberis for Pen y Pass and Snowdon and Beddgelert for the gorgeous Aberglaslyn pass and Osprey watching are all within a 5 minute walk from the house. The town of Caernarfon with it`s ancient prehistoric sites and famous castle is 1 mile down the road. A Taxi ride to Caernarfon will cost between £5.00 and £10.00. The modern day Electric Mountain, Zip World and Bounce Below all are within easy travelling distance. Children’s park and picnic area within a 1 minute walk from house. Village shop/post office and petrol station within a 5 minute walk.
