We are all vaccinated & adhere to strict Covid cleaning & privacy is assured. This light, comfortable self-contained, 65 sqm, modern open plan unit has air conditioned living areas, ceiling fans throughout & a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine etc. Spacious master bedroom & ensuite have rear access to lovely shaded gardens, BBQ area & the 10 metre salt water pool. Thank you Lynne Totally self-contained, large & open plan this unit is single story, air-conditioned & purpose built to provide you with complete privacy in both the indoor & the outdoor spaces. A Queen bed in bedroom, 1 or 2 singles in the living area, plus we have cot & toddler bed for the little ones, if required. The guest parking is located at the front door of the unit for easy access & is off street & undercover. This generous sized unit is approximately 65 m2 indoor area, plus 50m2 undercover outdoor eating & BBQ area. Enjoy yourselves in any weather. We welcome you to invite your friends over to enjoy the 10 metre salt water pool & lovely shady gardens which compliment the unit so well. Large lounge with NBN, Wifi, TV & DVD player, dining area & a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a washing machine, iron, ironing board & drying facilities. A spacious separate comfortably furnished bedroom has a large wardrobe, hangers & all linens supplied. The well appointed ensuite is fully equipped with a hair dryer, toiletries, extra towels etc. Easy access shower, no steps. Although not permanently fitted out but on request there are ramps, rails and chairs available for those with a mobility problem. The park opposite & our front garden are often visited early mornings by Kangaroos from the school grounds. They have proved to be a very popular feature for years. A local Tavern, Supermarket, shops, Restaurants & 5 take-away outlets are only a short 300 metre walk. The Medical Centre is also only 300 metres away & opposite the Shopping Centre. It is open until 10pm at night. There is also an on call Doctor who does home visits & available after hours. The unit is an ideal place to unwind and relax in your own space, without the hustle and bustle of large numbers of tourists. Business travellers, a computer workstation or if more space is required a large well lit table for your comfort and convenience & a printer on request The unit known as " The Drey" which is a Squirrels Nest, so named after a favourite Uncle with the nickname of " Squirrel". We will be happy to assist with your enquiries but will not intrude. Alec & I are well travelled and usually stay in units whilst overseas as we enjoy the freedom and privacy of a unit. Great Location, with the park opposite and close to public transport and only 10 to 15min drive to theme parks, Metricon Stadium, beaches and major shopping centres ie: Robina, Pacific Fair or Westfield Helensvale. We are well catered for by licenced clubs for delicious meals at really good prices. A very friendly Bowls Club & the Nerang RSL plus 3 hotels. You don't have to be a Bowler or a returned Serviceman to enjoy the excellent facilities these clubs provide. All transport available, a train from Nerang train station to Brisbane or points south. The bus is only 100m down the walkway onto Alexander drive & Uber & Gold Coast taxis only a phone call away. We will happily pick up guests from "The Gold Coast Airport" at Coolangatta , for free if staying for 3 or more nights. A nominal charge of $25- each way for shorter stays. I am sorry this is not available if you need baby seats.😢 Straight in the front door from your private off street undercover parking. This single level unit is totally self contained & purpose built to provide privacy for guests. With unrestricted views of the park & gardens. Security screened & with tinted windows & doors allowing you to see out but no one can see in. Guests have access through the unit to their 50m2 covered BBQ area, lovely 10 metre salt water pool & large rear well maintained gardens. Providing Guests with a tranquil space to unwind. We can assist if wanted with a good knowledge of the local area & there are pamphlets for all the Tourist venues available in the unit. The M1 provides access to The Carrara Sporting Complex only 3.5 KMs, all the Theme Parks, Metricon Stadium, Mt Tambourine village & rain forrest, Springbrook Glow worm caves & the iconic Gold Coast Beaches. Venues such as Draculas, The Casino etc. with a special mention "Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary" a true celebration of Australian Culture. We are in a quiet, unique location. It is a Square with only 26 houses which surround a lovely park. In the mornings , early we are frequently visited by kangaroos from the school. It's a lovely way to start the day. The kangaroos are attracted to our neighbour Kevin's roses but will hop away if approached. Well catered for with local shops only 300 metres away. Or there are 3 Coles, Woolies, Aldi, restaurants & take aways plus over 60 specialty shops all within 5 minute Public transport is well catered for with bus services, local train station ( trains to Brisbane or south ) Uber etc. & taxis. We are only 10 minutes from all the Theme Parks & for those without a car of their own, we will happily drive Guests to & from the Theme Parks at no charge, as it is much faster than the Public transport. Our aim is to ensure that you are provided with the essentials and more, to make your stay memorable.
