We’ve created the country’s first set of Passive House touristic apartments. Set in the fisherman’s village of Costa Nova do Prado, you can feel the wellbeing of a space that combines your daily comfort with the environmental sustainability. With the possibility to guest up to 4 people, the Canastra apartment is in the ground floor of Cestaria, having a private, exterior patio, accessible from the two rooms and working as an extension of the living room. With a double bed and two single beds, each suite can lodge 2 adults, having the possibility to place the two single beds together. The cotton sheets, the linen bedspreads and the crude wool blankets were chosen to provide great nights of sleep. The bathroom amenities emphasize our ecological footprint, as we brought to Portugal the German natural cosmetics brand Stop The Water While Using Me. The kitchen, fully equipped, works as an extension of the living room (kitchenette), where you can find some books on the region and the country. Cestaria also obtained the A++ classification in the LiderA certification, the highest level of performance obtained at this national environmental certification system.
