Haus Steinwidder -room nr. 2 - breakfast included

Our house is a typical bed & breakfast. We offer you 2 double rooms and 2 single rooms. The price includes an extended breakfast, also vegan if you like. We welcome since 1976 guests from all over the world in our house. :-) It´s a nice, quiet room with a double bed and a sofa. In the room there is a shower and a washing place as well, the toilet is outside the room. Our house is located near the city center and near the train station as well. A walk into the city takes only a few minutes. If you come by train I can pick you up from the train station, if you like. It you walk, it takes only 12 minutes from the train station to our house. If you come by car, you can park on the backside of the house. In our breakfast room we have SAT-TV. It´s also the common room for the guests. And you can use our Wi-Fi for free. On the first floor there is a small kitchen, if you want to cook something. Of course you can also use the garden. It´s nice to sit outside when the wheather is fine. :) I also live in the house, if you need something or would like to ask something - I´ll be there. Bad Aussee lies in a beautiful landscape with many lakes and mountains. There are a lot of possibilities for trips in the local area. If you like culture, you will also love the place. Very old traditions are still practised. You probably will see a lot of dirndl dresses and lederhosen when you walk around. ;-) Many guests come to our area, because they want to see Hallstatt. You can go there by train and ferry from Bad Aussee traun station. If you spend time in our region, you should see Hallstatt as well. It´s very close - 2 stations by train. Close to Hallstatt is Mount Dachstein. You will love the view from over there - it´s breathtaking. Or you can visit the famous ice cave. Many of our guests, who are only a few days in the region, like to see/to do this: Altaussee: Walk around the lake, visiting the saltmine, going up to Mount Loser, having a good meal on loserhut or hiking to Ruine Pflindsberg. Grundlsee: 3-Lakes-Tour (Grundlsee/Toplitzsee/Kammersee) Lake Toplitz is a very famous mystical place with an interresting history. Lake Grundlsee is also very beautiful and the bigest lake in the area. Bad Aussee: walk around in the city, going to the museum, visit the Alpengarten, going to the spa ... We also have a spa, it´s name is Narzissen Bad. Bad Aussee is famous for it´s gingerbread. You can go by train, by bus or by taxi. There a special type of taxis for the guests - the name is Narzissenjet. Of course you can also rent bikes or cars. The next airports are in Salzburg, Linz, Graz and Vienna. From there you can come by bus, train or car to our town. In Bad Aussee we have a really nice spa with warm water - the name is Narzissen Bad. It´s a very relaxing place. After 5 pm the entry is only 13 Euro, and it´s open untill 9 pm. If you like to go there, please don´t forget to pack a swimm suit or your swimming trunks. In summer you can also swimm in our lakes.
