Luxury Villa with pool in the Florentine Hills

A most elegant and meticulously restored ancient villa in hill top location with stunning views over the Tuscan hills, Villa Napoleone is a beautifully appointed comfortable home in the outskirts of Florence, perfect for families or a group of friends wishing to discover the best that Tuscany has to offer. We can accommodate up to 6 happy travelers in 3 en-suite air conditioned double bedrooms, extensive panoramic gardens, large terrace-solarium and private salt water swimming pool. Villa Napoleon sits in a privately owned Tuscan Estate, Torre il Fico, of 8 hectares of secluded protected parkland of olive trees and lemon trees orchards, shrubs and panoramic landscaped gardens overlooking the Florentine hills. Villa Napoleon is arranged over two floors and covers a surface of about 450 sqm. Beautifully appointed throughout, the villa can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 large bright double bedrooms, all on the first floor, where you will also find a beautiful study/reading room. All bedrooms are air conditioned and have private bathrooms. Each bedroom is individually styled with made to measure locally crafted furniture and most comfortable large beds. One of the bathroom has a walk in shower, the other two have a bath tub with shower over. They are all beautifully finished with Portuguese marble countertops and floors and luxury fittings. Our luxury linen is all privately owned and laundered in house. On the ground floor there are a fully equipped kitchen, with log burning stove and direct access to a large paved patio area (perfect for breakfasts), a large bright formal dining room with antique fireplace, a smaller additional dining room with glass door and direct access to the garden, a double salon/drawing room with a further fireplace and floor-to-ceiling glass doors leading to the stunning terrace, fully furnished for al fresco dining and perfect for glorious aperitifs in front of the sunset. The Villa can be rented fully staffed if requested: extra maid/housekeeping service, laundry, extra linen change can all be arranged, as well as cook service for lunch/dinner, driver, fridge and wine pre-stocking service, etc, all at very reasonable rates – all you have to do is ask! There is a luxury independent Suite annexed to the main villa, with own private access, totally secluded patio area, large bedroom - sitting area, full bathroom, a/c, wi-fi and TV, which can be rented in addition to the Villa Napoleon for parties of 7 or 8 people, please inquiry if interested. We welcome long rentals: the villa sits in panoramic quiet location about 10 miles from Florence city center, and it's close to all services, including hospitals and excellent international schools, making it the perfect place to stay during for a sabbatical (or work related) stay in Tuscany. Guests have exclusive use of the villa and its ground, including the swimming pool The area is a paradise for foodies and wine lovers! We are less than 10 miles from Florence city center and the perfect base to explore the best tuscany has to offer, from sightseeing and shopping in Renaissance Florence to glorious drives along the Chianti Road, then wine tasting in historic cellars as well as visits to ancient towns (San Gimignano, Volterra and Siena, for instance) and shopping at the nearby luxury outlet (The Mall). We are close to all amenities, but the location is rural and own transport is advised. That said, if you'd rather not drive, we'll be happy to arrange a car with driver for you, for airport/station transfers, shopping and cultural tours, wine tasting tours. The villa is served by all local taxi companies Electricity and air conditioning are included up to 300 KwH/week. All extra usage, if any, will be charged on consumption at €0,35/kwh Heating is not included in rental fee (not required in Summer)! Swimming pool open from mid May to end of September. A security deposit of €1500 cash is required at time of arrival - we will release a receipt and the deposit will be fully refunded prior to departure, when the villa is handed back in good order. As required by the italian law, upon arrival we will require all your passports/ID, which will be given back to you immediately (if you bring copies with you the process will be quicker!), and you will have to sign a standard short term letting contract.
