1917 Classic Arts and Crafts Home in the Catskills

Come enjoy the Catskills Mountains in this beautifully updated vintage Craftsman from 1917! The house is on a double lot on one of the main streets of the Stamford Village, allowing you to be around the corner from all the comforts of downtown including our local coffee & wine shops, grocery, restaurants, and antique stores! The home boasts two photogenic front porches on both the lower and upper levels meaning you can take in the breathtaking views of the Catskills no matter where you are in the house! The back of the home includes a spacious yard and large deck with built-in seating to allow plenty of space for entertaining or dining al fresco! Inside the house you'll find an open eat-in kitchen with updated appliances and a dishwasher. A complimentary coffee and espresso bar are available alongside plenty of counter space and stocked cabinets for making dinners at home! Around the corner from the kitchen you'll find a small study with a large smart TV and fold-out couch. If television isn't your thing, the massive living room includes a gorgeous decorative fire space with plenty of cozy seating for late night chats. You may also enjoy playing a rousing game of scrabble at the game table while sipping a complimentary bottle of local wine on us! When it's time to turn in for the night you'll have four tastefully updated rooms to choose from - two with queen beds and two with double twin beds. Each room includes dressers, mirrors, and their own interesting unique antique pieces including fold-down vintage desks! For guests who might need to work remotely while visiting the home, the house has high speed internet along with a devoted office which includes a large desk, keyboard, and 27" monitor to allow for a private and efficient workspace while you travel! The office is also adjacent to the upper porch, so you'll get to take in the Catskill mountains while you work! When you're ready to explore the area, you can just walk out the door and explore local coffee shops, antique stores, cafes, and more all less than half a mile away. Stamford is conveniently located a short drive from several attractions including hiking, golfing, fishing, skiing, farms, wedding venues, and more! The home has parking for three cars and additional street parking just steps from the house on West Main Street. At this time we are unable to rent to families with small children due to several vintage qualities we love about the house but, unfortunately, do not align with current standards of childproofing!
