Colletta is a medieval village that was abandoned in 1950. It has been restored from the ruins and now resides among beautiful wild mountains and peaceful olive groves, only a short drive from the bright lights of the Italian Riviera and its social life. A beautiful two bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, garden, terrace and associated olive grove. All windows receive the sun and have excellent views. There is a large double bed and lots of storage in the master bedroom. The second bedroom can be configured with a double bed, two singles or as a study / office and has its own entrance. There are two full bathrooms with showers upstairs and a toilet / shower in the other. Appliances include air conditioning, underfloor heating, dishwasher, oven / microwave, washer / dryer, LCD TV, broadband internet connection & WiFi. Outside on the terrace and in the garden, there are tables and chairs for alfresco dining with stunning views. The manicured garden and lawn include flower beds, herbs and a shady olive tree. A 150 meter walk down the hill takes you to the associated olive grove, with a private picnic table and often fresh cherries ready to eat from the tree. The village is the ideal base for a stay in Italy. Not only are there beautiful walks, climbs and mountains just outside your door, but it is possible to take a trip to Nizza, Monico, San Remo, Genoa, Cinque Terra, Pizza, Turin. Florenza and other Tuscan destinations are also possible day trips. You are in the hills of the Maritime Alps, so you can walk to a 1700-meter peak from your front door or in an hour's drive enjoy the alpine meadows and streams of the Val Tanaro. You will have the use of the apartment, its garden and private terrace. It will also be possible to visit our olive grove for a picnic or for a quiet break to enjoy the view. You will also have access to the communal swimming pool, sauna and the village gardens. Also there is the small square where you can meet people for a chat at the village bar. free WIFI. Colletta is surrounded by olive groves and mountains with famous climbing walls. You can relax under a tree or by the pool or go mountain biking, climbing, walking trekking. The village is in the heart of the fabulous Oltre Finale climbing area. In winter there are even ski areas only an hours drive away! Also our own olive/cherry grove is (200m west) and it is a fantastic spot with a picnic table. If the cherries are in season you can eat all you can harvest! There is a twice daily bus to the local town and a grocery shop, bar, pharmacy and restaurants withing walking distance. But if you want to get out and about a car is very useful
