Manoir de A is a design-boutique property located just south of Angouleme in France's cognac region. Nestled in the region's astounding countryside where rolling vineyards meet endless sunflower fields, this 15th Century manor has been restored and its rooms designed with a contemporary twist. Manoir de A is an hour and a half by high-speed train from Paris-Montparnasse, or just over an hour from the international airport of Bordeaux. The gatehouse is a one bedroom space for 2 with private entrance and en-suite bathroom. There is a seating area with TV, small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The gatehouse is located above the gates to Manoir. It is accessed via a staircase. It is not suitable for wheelchair access.
